Our Italian-Venezuelan Network Engineer, Eduardo Simonetti surprised us with his ingenuity yesterday. Instead of relying on expensive fiber optics equipment, he performed the most basic fiber optics tests by pointing a flashlight to one end of the fiber to see whether or not the light would come out at the other end. His discovery prompted the wiring company to test and redo several fiber optics connections.
