The Georgetown University Law Center’s Audiovisual Department provides classroom support and multimedia services for the Law Center community. In order to provide all of our community members with the resources they require, the AV Department requires that all service requests be made at least 2 weeks prior to date of the event and that all changes in requests be made 48 hours in advance of the event date. Failure to request services 2 weeks in advance may hinder AV support of an event. For special events at the Law Center, the AV Department highly recommends scheduling an on-site planning session, also known as a “walk-through”. These meetings with senior AV management are scheduled by the event planners and allow for the proper allocation of AV equipment and services for an event. A walk-through should be scheduled at least two weeks in advance of any special event and changes to requests should be made no later than 48 hours before the start of any special event. Please be advised that the use of AV resources and equipment in support of the Law Center's academic functions commands priority over support for special events. The classroom services form can be found at http://www.law.georgetown.edu/ist/av/requestform.cfm. The special events form can be found at http://www.law.georgetown.edu/ist/AVSpecialEventForm.pdf. |
