Georgetown Law’s J.D. program is one of the most respected in the nation — and our LL.M. and S.J.D. programs are recognized around the world. In addition to the traditional 1L curriculum, Georgetown offers an alternative first-year curriculum that takes a more critical and theory-driven approach to contracts, torts and other staples. Lawyers already in practice can choose among a wide range of LL.M. and certificate programs or design an individualized course of study to suit their particular needs.
