International Taxation
Students may enroll for the Certificate in International Taxation in conjunction with the Tax LL.M. degree, on a full- or part-time basis. Students may also enroll for the Certificate as a stand-alone program if they have previously completed a Tax LL.M. degree at Georgetown or at another U.S. law school. As a stand-alone program, the Certificate may be completed in one semester of full-time study or two semesters of part-time study. For US-trained students, successful completion of a basic course in federal individual income taxation is a pre-requisite to commencing work on this Certificate. Foreign-trained students desiring to complete the Certificate must enroll for U.S. Income Tax: Policies and Practices during the Fall Semester.
