Emily Wack is a Director in the Office of J.D. Academic Services. In addition to providing academic advice to students, Emily is responsible for main campus course requests, overseeing the joint and concurrent degree programs, and assisting transfer and visiting students. Emily received her B.A. in English and political science from Arizona State University and her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she was a member of the Board of Student Advisers and an articles editor for the Harvard Journal of Law and Gender. After law school, Emily clerked for Judge James G. Carr of the Northern District of Ohio before joining the D.C. office of Gibson Dunn as a litigation associate. Her practice included white collar defense and intellectual property as well as general corporate litigation.
