TOEFL Score
Applicants must have excellent English language writing and speaking ability. Georgetown requires a score exceeding 100 points on the internet-based TOEFL exam (with minimum scores of 25 in each of the four sections) or 600 on the paper-based TOEFL exam (with minimum scores of 60 in each of the three sections). Current or former Georgetown LL.M. students for whom the TOEFL was waived should contact the Office of Graduate Admissions to ascertain whether that waiver will apply to their S.J.D. application. You can find more information about the TOEFL exam, as well as the TOEFL Bulletin of Information and registration form here.
