Matthew Bender, a LexisNexis company, announced that it is launching The Energy Handbook, edited by David J. Muchow (L’71) and William A. Mogel.The book will serve as a reference manual and guide for the energy industry. Muchow is president and CEO of SkyBuilt Power, a solar power company.

Trial attorney C. Steven Yerrid (L’75) authored When Justice Prevails, which chronicles eight of his most challenging cases including his landmark legal victory against the tobacco industry on behalf of the state of Florida.Yerrid is the founder and president of The Yerrid Law Firm, a specialty firm concentrating in state and federal civil trial practice.

Michael R. Gardner (L’77) chronicles Harry Truman’s pivotal role in the civil rights movement in Harry Truman and Civil Rights: Moral Courage and Political Risks. The book includes forewards by George M. Elsey and Kweisi Mfume. Gardner is a communications policy attorney in Washington, D.C. and serves as pro bono chairman of the U.S.Telecommunications Training Institute.

     Wall Street Journal reporter Monica Langley (L’83) published Tearing Down the Walls, a business biography of Citigroup chairman and CEO Sanford (“Sandy”) Weill.

Theresa Martin-Golding (L’85) recently completed her second book. The Secret Within is a young adult novel published by Boyds Mill Press.
