2007 National White Collar Crime Invitational ruler

Congratulations to South Texas College of Law, the Eleventh Anual White Collar Crime Mock Trial Competition Champions!  

Sixteen teams from law schools all over the country competed in this year's anual competition, held at the Prettyman District Courthouse over Veteran's Day Weekend.  From November 10 to November 12 the teams brought a high level of competition to every round. 

The impressive semi-finalists were the teams from Saint Mary's University School of Law, University of Texas School of Law, Pace University Law School and South Texas College of Law.  The finalists from Pace University Law School and South Texas College of Law competed in a close and exciting final match and South Texas College of Law prevailed as the 2007 White Collar Mock Trial Competition winner!  

Congratulations to all of the teams on their hard work and successful competition.  

Special thanks to all of the judges who participated.  Judges were represented by lawyers in the D.C. metropolitan area and included partners and associatates from law firms, the Department of Justice, the U.S. House of Representatitives, law school professors and judicial clerks.
