The Baccalaureate Mass is an optional event and is open to all Georgetown University graduates.
Instructions for Law Graduates
A. ROBING
Graduates will robe at 8:30 a.m in Room 206 of the White-Gravenor Building.
B. ASSEMBLY
Graduates will wear caps, gowns, and hoods at Mass. After robing, the graduates will report immediately to the Law School Banner Carrier who will be at designated standard in Red Square.
C. TIMETABLE
8:40 a.m. - Graduates line up
8:55 a.m. - Procession leaves Red Square
9:00 a.m. - Ceremony begins
D. RECESSIONAL & PRESIDENT'S BREAKFAST
There will be a recessional of graduates following the Baccalaureate Mass. Follow the directions of the Grand Marshal in exiting from the seating area. Graduates and their families are invited to the President's Breakfast in Leavey Center Grand Ballroom immediately following the mass.
E. INCLEMENT WEATHER
In case of inclement weather, the Baccalaureate Mass will be held in McDonough Arena on Main Campus. The decision to change the site of the Mass will be made no later than 7:15 a.m. and will be posted at the Healy Building entrance by Campus Ministry. Information will also be available on the University Weather Line at (202) 687-7669. See instructions below.
Instructions for Inclement Weather
(Rain Site, McDonough Arena)
A. ROBING
Graduates will robe at 8:30 a.m. in the tent in front of McDonough Arena.
B. ASSEMBLY
Graduates will wear caps, gowns, and hoods at Mass. After robing, the graduates will report immediately to the Law School Banner Carrier at their designated standard in the tent in front of McDonough Arena.

D. RECESSIONAL & COMMENCEMENT BRUNCH
There will be a recessional of graduates following the Baccalaureate Mass. Follow the directions of the Grand Marshal in exiting from the seating area. Graduates and their families are invited to the Commencement Brunch in the Leavey Center Grand Ballroom immediately following the mass.
