Directions and Parking
Getting to Georgetown University (Main Campus)
For Commencement Day, we urge families and guests to travel to Georgetown University Main Campus via taxi or public transportation. Please note that the Georgetown University Transportation Shuttles (G.U.T.S.) will not be in service on Sunday, May 19, 2013. There is limited parking on main campus, some of which is free.
Parking
Limited parking will be available in the Southwest Quad Garage on the Main Campus. The parking in the Southwest Quad Garage is free but limited. The parking garage is approximately a 10 minute walk to the Commencement Ceremony site. Please note that the Leavey Center parking garage charges for parking.
Public Transportation
The Metro subway stations closest to Georgetown University are Dupont Circle station (at 20th & Q Streets, NW) and Rosslyn station (located across the Key Bridge in Rosslyn, Va., with entrances at North Moore Street & Wilson Blvd., and on Fort Myer Drive between 19th Street & Wilson Blvd).
Metrobus route G2 stops at the Healy Gate (37th and O Streets, NW). The G2 bus connects to the Metro subway at the Dupont Circle Metro station (near 20th and Q Streets, NW).
Metrobus routes D3 and D6 stop at 38th Street and Reservoir Road, NW, on the Medical Center side of campus. The D3 and D6 buses connect to the Metro subway at Dupont Circle Metro station.
Metrobus routes D1 and D2 provide nearby service to 35th and Q Streets, NW (about 3 blocks from Healy Gate). The D1 and D2 buses connect to the Metro subway at Dupont Circle Metro station.

Guests with Disabilities
Free on-campus shuttle buses will be available to move guests with disabilities from the parking facilities to the ceremony site. Shuttle pick-up locations will have signs posted and will be easily seen near each of the parking facilities where shuttles will be used.
Complimentary wheelchairs will be available at Healy Circle. No reservations are needed; wheelchairs will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
