Green Committee
At Georgetown Law, a "Green Committee" comprised of students, faculty and staff has been meeting since 1999 to brainstorm ways to make the campus more environmentally friendly. In 2008 a student action group called "Georgetown Green" was created on campus and in 2009 these two groups merged with a single mission:
"Thinking globally and acting locally to make Georgetown Law an environmentally sustainable campus"
