Adding a Folder
- Open your Courseware site.
- Go to the tab where you want to add a folder.
- Click on the Add Folder button.
- A New Folder page will appear.
- Type the new folder’s name in the Title field.
- Type a description of the folder in the Description field.
- Choose to make the folder visible or hidden in the Status section.
- Depending on the type of tab to which you are adding the new folder, you have different options:

- On the Announcements tab, you can determine whether you want to display the full text of your announcements or limit the display to a certain number of characters in the Limit Length section.
- On the Documents tab, you can determine who can upload files in the Uploading section; decide how many days users can edit their files in the Edit Days section; determine whether users can delete their files in the Delete Days section; and decide whether users will only see their own uploaded files in the Dropbox section.
- On the Discussion tab, you can determine who can post messages in the Posting section and who can edit postings in the Editing section.
- On the Links tab, you can determine who can add links in the Additions section.
- Choose to make the folder visible or hidden in the Status section.
- Click on the Submit button.
- Your new folder will appear at the bottom of the folder list of the chosen tab.
