Tab Management Buttons

There are five management buttons on every tab. These buttons are only visible to site managers (faculty), not to users (students).

1. The Tab Settings Button
   Use this button to edit a tab's properties, including its title, whether it is hidden or not, and how items appear.
2. The Add Folder Button
   Use this button to add a new folder (or forum) to a tab. (On the Discussion tab, this button is labeled Add Forum.)
3. The Delete Tab Button
   Use this button to delete a tab. Tabs that you delete (as well as the folders and items that they contain) will be moved to the site's Recycle Bin, from where they can be recovered.
4. The Sort Button
   Use this button to sort the folders on a tab.
5. The Page Preview Button
   Click on this button to see what your site will look like to a user (student). The tab page will appear without the management buttons and without any hidden tabs, folders, or items.
