Laura Hosid received her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, and her J.D. from New York University School of Law. She practiced law with a large firm in Philadelphia for two years before transitioning to law school career counseling. Before joining Georgetown, she worked as a temporary career counselor at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law, and American University’s Washington College of Law. Laura joined Georgetown University Law Center in January 2007, initially working with LL.M. students before coming to OCS in June 2007. A Baltimore native, she now lives in Bethesda with her husband, teaches fourth grade religious school, has run two marathons, and is the mom of a very spoiled Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
