Callbacks for Public Service

The Callbacks for Public Service Program encourages students to consider staying with friends or family when traveling to callback interviews.  A student participating in the program will notify participating firms that they have decided to stay with a friend or relative instead of at a hotel during the callback interview.  In lieu of hotel expenses, a participating firm would agree to donate the equivalent cost of a hotel stay to Georgetown's Equal Justice Foundation (EJF), a student-run nonprofit organization that supports law students working in the public sector with grants and sponsorship.

In order to receive credit towards Equal Justice Foundation hours, participants in Callbacks for Public Service must e-mail ejf@law.georgetown.edu with 1) the person receiving credit for the hours, 2) the person who did the callback, 3) the firm(s), 4) city or cities, and 5) date(s). You must e-mail us before October 30.

Please note that the firms listed in the document below refer to offices outside of DC. Callbacks for Public Service only applies if the firm would otherwise have paid for a hotel stay for your interview.
