Spring Recruitment Program
The Spring Recruitment Program provides law firms the opportunity to interview Georgetown Law students (1Ls, 2Ls and 3Ls) for summer and post-graduation positions. This is a pre-screened interview program that takes place on campus from February 4-13.
Registration for the Spring Recruitment Program takes place online via Symplicity, starting in November. If you do not already have an account, please register through the Register Tab on Symplicity. You will receive an e-mail within 24 hours confirming your Symplicity registration and your username and password. For assistance, send an e-mail to the OCS Recruitment Team or call 202-662-9300. Once you are logged into Symplicity, click on OCI and under the Schedule Requests tab, click on the gray "Request Schedule" button. Select the "Spring 2013 Private Sector Recruitment Program" session and fill out your hiring criteria. Student resume packets will be sent to participating firms on or around January 14, 2013. Employers may then submit candidate selections via Symplicity by January 18, 2013. Final schedules are emailed to employers 1-2 business days prior to the interview date.
Employers are strongly encouraged to participate in the Spring 2013 Private Sector Recruitment Program, however, in the event that the date is not convenient, we will make every effort to accommodate your schedule and set a different date for your interviews.
Important Dates for Employers
- January 14, 2013 - Student resume packets sent to participating employers
- January 17, 2013 - Employer pre-selections are due
- January 28, 2013 - Participating employers receive preliminary schedule(s)
- February 1, 2013 - Final schedule(s) available via Symplicity
- February 4-13, 2013 - Spring Recruitment Program
Spring Resume Collections
Spring Resume Collect: If logistics prevent your firm from being able to recruit on-campus, but you would still like to receive resumes from Georgetown 1Ls, we invite you to consider our Spring Resume Collect program.Through this program, students who are interested in your firm upload their resume to Symplicity and at the expiration of the program, you will receive a packet of resumes for your review. The deadline to sign up for this program is December 28, 2012.
1L Diversity Resume Collect: Georgetown boasts one of the largest populations of self-identified, diverse students in the country and this program will serve as an effective and easy way for you to get in on the ground floor with some of the best and brightest lawyers-to-be. The deadline to sign up for this program is December 28, 2012.
