The Fellowship is a two-year, post-graduate position sponsored by Georgetown Law and Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Galveston-Houston. The Fellow will represent noncitizen adults and children seeking political asylum and other relief in Immigration Court removal proceedings. The Fellowship is an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on litigation skills and build contacts within immigration reform and civil rights communities on the local and national levels, while serving low-income immigrants with compelling needs. The Fellow will be an employee of the Cabrini Center for Immigrant Legal Assistance at Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Galveston-Houston in Houston, TX. The fellowship is open to Georgetown JD students graduating in 2015.
