Interested in mixing business with law? Come to OCS on Thursday, March 28 at 12:30 to learn how one alumnus made it happen!
Please join GULC grad David Fogel on Thursday, March 28 at 12:30 p.m. in OCS to hear his insights about how to make a successful transition from law to business, either directly from law school or after practicing law. David is a “Triple Hoya” (SFS ’93, JD/MBA ’97) who started as a corporate lawyer at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP and two years later pursued his entrepreneurial and business dreams to start a high-growth Internet company (with 2 fellow Hoyas) that was subsequently sold to a publicly-traded financial services company. More recently, David and a GULC classmate co-founded an exchange-traded fund (ETF) company that now manages $1 billion in assets. David will discuss how to leverage your GULC legal education to better position yourself for a career in business. OCS will provide drinks and cookies. Please RSVP using the Events tab in Symplicity so we can have a sense of how much food to order.
