The Equal Rights Center, DC is seeking an additional intern for this summer. Civil Rights Interns will have an opportunity to work in each of our core program areas: fair housing, disability rights, immigrant rights and equal employment opportunity, as well as with our emerging LGBT initiative. They will work on a variety of substantive tasks related to ongoing studies, investigations and complaints in the Washington, DC area and across the nation.
The Equal Rights Center is a national civil rights organization dedicated to promoting equal opportunity in housing, employment, public accommodations and government services in and around the nation's capital and across the country. Through a variety of strategies, including education and outreach, complaint intakes and advocacy, testing and private enforcement, the ERC attempts to remedy and address the harmful impacts of discrimination.
