International Internship Opportunity in Paris - Apply ASAP!

Ernst and Young in Paris (http://www.ey.com/FR/fr/Home/Article) is looking for a summer legal intern.  They are looking for a candidate with French language skills. E&Y Paris hosted a Georgetown intern as recently as last year.  They are now looking for a student who will work 2 months preferably June and July.  There will be monetary compensation provided at the end of the internship.  At the moment, the amount has not been specified.  In addition, please note that we reserve the right to pull resumes that do not meet the French langauge requirement.  Interested students should send their resumes to tucker@law.georgetown.edu by Tuesday, April 16th at 2:00pm with the subject line “Opportunity in Paris”.

Brigard & Urrutia is one of the most prominent full-service law firms in Latin America. The firm provides integral legal advice in all related areas of business law. Interns will be involved in the life of the firm and are expected to have the opportunity to work in the different teams, occasionally to assist with professional development activities, and will have the chance to work with Brigard & Urrutia attorneys on real cases.

Hot Job for Fall: Securities and Exchange Commission Intern/Externship

Though these are volunteer positions, they offer students responsibilities and experiences that promote their careers. Over the course of the program, students work with SEC staff on projects that range – depending on the intern’s assignment – from investigating fraud to drafting regulations to reviewing filings and products.

We have high expectations for our interns, often assigning them the same work we would give a newly-hired staff attorney. Students assist with tasks such as drafting regulations, reviewing filings, or preparing for interviews and testimony. They spend hours every day with line attorneys, and they support senior executives. Interns must work at least 15 hours a week

Students should apply asap because applications will be considered on a rolling basis.
