Reminder - OCS Interview Workshop in NYC on Tuesday, July 10

OCS is offering an Interview Workshop in New York to help students, particularly rising 2L/3Es, prepare for interviews this fall.  This workshop will offer insight and advice on how to research and prepare for interviews, tackle difficult questions, and best present yourself in a down economy.  Assistant Dean for Career Services, Marcia Shannon, will lead the workshop. 

The Interview Workshop will be held at Cravath, Swaine & Moore on Tuesday, July 10* at 6pm.  Cravath’s office is located at Worldwide Plaza, 825 Eighth Avenue, New York NY  10019-7475.  Please RSVP to ocsrsvp@law.georgetown.edu by Friday, July 6.

Reminder: Sign Up for a Mock Interview

The deadline to register for the Mock Interview Program is Friday, July 6 and matches will be released on Monday, July 9. Interviews are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so sign up early!

The Mock Interview Program is a great opportunity for students to practice their interviewing skills before Early Interview Week. Students select the city in which they would like to do the interview (most often, the city where they're working over the summer) and OCS matches those students with volunteer attorneys who conduct the interviews in their office at a mutually agreeable time.

REMINDER - Clerkship Interview Workshop – Wed., August 31st at 3:30pm

The clerkship interview process can be complicated and tough to navigate.  Get prepared by attending the Clerkship Interview Workshop on Wednesday, August 31 at 3:30 P.M. in McDonough 201.  Emmy Berning will discuss potential interview topics and strategies for handling interviews.  Clerkship interviews are often scheduled only a day or two in advance, leaving little time to get ready for an interview.  This interview workshop will give you the tools you need to manage the process and feel confident in answering even the most unexpected questions.
