Welcome back from spring break!
Summer will be here before we know it, and soon you will become upper-division students! As rising 2Ls, your summer 2013 job search may begin much earlier than the 1L search began. Your 2L job search may include organized recruiting programs, job search databases such as Symplicity and PSLawNet, and direct outreach to employers of interest. OCS and OPICS will hold information sessions about opportunities, dates, and deadlines (to be announced on Hoya Headlines), but we want to share some important dates that you may wish to consider when finalizing your summer plans.
As you may know, Early Interview Week (EIW) is Georgetown’s largest private sector on-campus interview program, and EIW is held at the Washington Court Hotel across the street from the Law Center (August 13-17, 2012). Bidding for EIW, the Government Interview Program (GIP), and off-campus regional interview programs takes place during the summer. Click here for key dates, and if you’re interested in participating, mark your calendar!
