If you are a 1L or 2L spending the summer at a law firm this
year, you won’t want to miss OCS's annual How to Succeed as a Summer Associate
program on Wednesday, April 11 at 3:30 p.m. in Gewirz 12. In addition to
hearing from a panel of recruiting professionals about what it takes to get
that coveted offer at the end of the summer, you will have the chance to meet
3Ls who spent last summer at a firm and learn about their experiences.
The panelists, who
have seen it all when it comes to summer associate programs, include: Tim Lloyd
(Hiring Partner at Hogan Lovells in Washington, DC); Jacquelyn Stone (Former
Hiring Partner at McGuire Woods in Richmond); and Dyana Barninger (Legal
Recruitment & Development Regional Manager at K&L Gates in Washington,
DC).
Light refreshments will be served, so if you plan to attend,
please RSVP to ocsrsvp@law.georgetown.edu.
