The Office of Career Services and Office of Public Interest and
Community Service announce the Opening of Student Bidding for the 2013
International Internship Program
Georgetown University Law
Center's International Internship Program (IIP) provides Georgetown law
students with the opportunity to obtain internships with organizations
all over the world, in both the private and public sectors.
IIP opportunities are now available for review and bidding on Symplicity.
Please make sure to use your Georgetown Law NetID and password to login
to the system. Detailed instructions on this program are available here. Please carefully read and consider the instructions before you begin the bidding process. More information about the program can also be found on our website at http://www.law.georgetown.edu/careers/job-search-tools/recruiting-programs/international-internship-program.cfm
IIP public sector applications require an employer-specific cover letter and resume for each bid.
All international public sector internships are eligible for Equal
Justice Foundation funding. You are permitted to bid on up to 10 employers in the Public Sector session.
IIP private sector applications do not require cover letters (just resumes). You are permitted to bid on up to 12 employers in the Private Sector session.
The student bidding deadline for IIP is 9:00 am on Thursday, January 24, 2013.
Students
are encouraged to seek international internships outside of the
program, as well, and counselors are available to discuss individual
interests and strategy.
