REMINDER: January Deadlines for Summer 2011 International Internship Program

Information on the various sponsors participating in Georgetown Law Center's Summer 2011 International Internship Program will be available on Simplicity on January 6, 2011. There will be separate drop-down menus from the “OCI” tab and different application processes for public and private sector employers, so read the directions carefully. The deadline for all applications is close of business on January 20, 2011. 

For additional information, please see the OCS and OPICS International Internship pages; OCS handles the private sector employers for IIP and OPICS handles the public sector employers for IIP.

Georgetown/GW Public Sector Recruiting Program opens on Friday, December 17 at 9:00am

The Georgetown/GW Public Sector Recruiting Program (PSRP) is an opportunity for Georgetown and George Washington law students to apply for summer internships and a limited number of entry-level positions with over 150 public sector employers nationwide. Employers participate in one of three ways:

·         Public Sector Interview Option (for employers that interview at the Program)

·         Public Sector Resume Collection Option (for employers that cannot interview at the Program, and will contact candidates directly to set up alternate interview arrangements)

·         Table Talk (employers attend the Program to speak informally with candidates) 

 Interviews and Table Talk will take place on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the George Washington University Marvin Center, 800 21st Street, N.W., Washington, DC 20052

Announcing the Summer 2011 Google Policy Fellowship

The Google Policy Fellowship program offers undergraduate, graduate, and law students interested in Internet and technology policy the opportunity to spend the summer contributing to the public dialogue on these issues, and exploring future academic and professional interests.

Fellows will receive a stipend of $7,500 for 10 weeks during the summer of 2011 (June-August). Exact dates of the fellowship will be worked out by the fellow and host organization

The DOJ Office of Special Counsel for Immigration-Related Unfair Employment Practices, www.justice.gov/crt/osc is a small office in the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice.  We enforce a federal statute that protects U.S. citizens and certain classes of immigrants from immigration-related discrimination in employment.
