Do you need general interview advice? Last minute prep for the September Interview Program? Some words of wisdom about callbacks?
During the entire month of September two OCS counselors will be available for mock interviews (divided into 20 minute sessions) every Wednesday from 3:30 to 5:30. First come, first served - so be sure to drop by OCS and get on the list early in the afternoon. The first session will be from 3:30 to 5:30 on Wednesday, September 1st.
You are also welcome to make individual mock interview appointments with OCS counselors by using Appointment Plus.

The Equal Justice Works Career Fair is the largest annual gathering of public interest and government employers in the nation. Approximately 150 - 200 employers conduct prescheduled interviews and informal information exchange with law students from across the country. The 2010 Fair will take place at the Bethesda North Marriot Hotel and Conference Center in MD on Friday, October 22 and Saturday, October 23.
Free student registration and a list of participating employers will open on August 30. Complete instructions will be available early next week on the EJW website at http://www.equaljusticeworks.org/events/ccf/general and the OPICS website.
Students submit requested materials to participating employers utilizing the EJW system between August 30 and September 24. Note: EJW does not use Symplicity to administer the Fair.
Stay tuned for additional information.

The program, designed like a class, will meet weekly beginning the week of September 13th. Small group sessions (groups of no more than 8-10 students) will be led by OCS counselors and will work off a general curriculum to include a number of topics which will adapt to the needs and interests of the particular group of students. As you may have noticed, Symplicity was recently updated which caused your schedule numbers to be temporarily unavailable this morning. This information is now available in Symplicity on the Scheduled Interviews tab under OCI. After selecting Scheduled Interviews, pick "EIW" from the sessions drop down menu. The "Interview Room" column will list your schedule number.
Please note that you must know your schedule number in order to find your interview room at the hotel. While we have copies of schedules available at the student information table, it will be much quicker for you if you check them in advance through Symplicity.
When you arrive at the hotel, check the glass wall at the bottom of the stairs or the bulletin boards in the student area to find the room number and interviewer names that correspond with your schedule number. Stop by the student information table with any questions!
