In keeping with their ongoing commitment to provide superior legal
representation, the Maryland Office of the Attorney General strives to
recruit and retain a professional staff that possesses a broad array of
diverse talent, background, and experience. To further those efforts
and to provide enhanced opportunities within the office for law
students, the Office of the Attorney General has created the Thurgood Marshall Opportunity Program.
The Inaugural year of the Attorney General's Thurgood Marshall
Opportunity Program is open to first and second year law students for
the Summer of 2013. The purpose of the program is to attract
students who demonstrate not only a devotion to public service and the
public good, but also exceptional leadership potential. Selected
participants will work at the Maryland Office of the Attorney General
for an 8-10 week summer internship, which will include a summer
reception.
