Student bidding for the 2014 Public Sector Recruitment Program opens tomorrow, Thursday, December 12, 2014! Employer information will be available for your review in the PSRP instance of Symplicity tomorrow morning. (Please note: it is not the same url as the Symplicity website that houses other GU Law recruiting programs.)
The Public Sector Recruiting Program is a day-long job fair for Georgetown and George Washington law students to interview for paid and unpaid summer internships and a limited number of permanent positions with non-profit organizations, government agencies and public interest law firms. This year we have 150+ employers participating in the Program.
PSRP consists of scheduled interviews, table talk (informal information exchange) and a resume collection option for employers that cannot interview at GW. All PSRP interview are “pre-screened,” which means that employers pre-select the students they wish to interview.
Interviews and Table Talk will take place on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the GWU Marvin Center.
Students are required to upload employer specific cover letters (in addition to resumes). Public sector employers prefer cover letters as part of students’ applications.
The deadline to upload application materials for the Interview Option is 12:00 pm on Tuesday, January 7, 2014.
The deadline to upload application materials for the Resume Collection Option is 5:00 pm on Tuesday, January 14, 2014.
Please read through the PSRP Instruction Manual for additional instructions and important dates/deadlines.
