Hot Job: Part-time externship opportunity with the FBI Office of General Counsel, Fall 2013.
The FBI General Counsel's Office seeks a Georgetown Law student for a one semester, part-time (20 hours per week), unpaid externship position. The extern's placement will depend on his or her interests; potential areas of focus include national security law, criminal law, science and technology law, including possible work with OGC’s Cyber Task Force, telecom law, appropriations law, and more. The type of work the extern will perform will depend on which section he or she is placed with, but will involve research, memos, email advice, reviewing agreements, and more.
The position requires a background check and a security clearance. The position is only open to U.S. citizens.
