Careers
The primary role of the Office of Career Services (OCS) and the Office of Public Interest and Community Service (OPICS) is to guide J.D.* students through the process of discovering and attaining their career goals. Through a variety of services, including individual counseling, skills workshops, practitioner panels, recruitment programs, and a shared interactive web presence, we are committed to serving every Georgetown Law student.
Our site includes extensive information on career and professional development services and resources, however, we recommend starting with the Career Planning section, which features information on typical career paths, as well as judicial clerkships, post-graduate fellowships, and government honors programs, plus a comprehensive list of practice area resource pages.
*LL.M., S.J.D., and Certificate graduate students seeking guidance about career planning and their job searches are invited to explore the Graduate Career and Professional Development site or visit Hotung Suite 5000.
