Adam Heeg

Assistant Director, Corporate and Business Initiatives

Adam Heeg joined OCS in 2012 after having served as a career services professional at both Indiana University and Northwestern University. While at Indiana, he worked with students from all majors and academic backgrounds as both a career counselor and course instructor. At Northwestern, Adam counseled students interested in pursuing business-related careers, including consulting, finance, banking, trading, and real estate among others. At both institutions, he also played a key role in developing and maintaining relationships with employers and assisting them in their campus recruiting efforts. Additionally, Adam co-authored Ready or Not: Beginning Your Career Journey, a textbook aimed at self and career exploration that is used in many career development courses. Prior to beginning his work as a career services practitioner, Adam worked in the front office of an NBA franchise. He received his B.S. in public affairs from Indiana University and his M.Ed. from DePaul University.
