Emmy Berning
Associate Director, Professional Development
Emmy Berning received her B.A. from Wellesley College, a J.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law, and a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government. Emmy practiced law in the D.C. office of O'Melveny & Myers LLP, focusing on litigation, white collar defense, and corporate investigations. She was also active in the firm's recruiting and related committees. She subsequently transitioned to work in-house, as an executive at Revolution LLC and the Case Foundation. In addition, Emmy worked in the Office of General Counsel on the presidential transition team for the Obama Administration. Prior to pursuing graduate studies, Emmy was an associate for a management consulting firm.
