Georgetown Law Open on Time
The Law Center will open on time FRIDAY, MARCH 6, 2015, but liberal leave is in effect. All designated emergency employees must report to work on time. Unless otherwise notified, classes will begin at their normal time. Instructional Continuity is in effect for the faculty members that wish to exercise it.
Community Tax Aid - Volunteer Registration now Open
The DC Earned Income Tax Credit Campaign (DC EITC) leverages the skills of hundreds of community volunteers to provide high quality, no-cost tax preparation services as well as connections to asset building opportunities to thousands of low-income individuals and families throughout the DC region. As a volunteer, you’ll get to know the Campaign’s clients, meet other great volunteers, and learn new skills. Volunteer roles include tax preparers, client coordinators, SNAP volunteers, interpreters, and greeters.
When & Where: Volunteer for 3-4 hours a week from February 1st through April 15th at one of 13 sites throughout the DC area. Most sites are open evenings and/or weekends. Volunteer trainings will take place at Georgetown Law in early January, 2014.
