NCSAB Seeks 2L and 3L volunteers
The National Council of State Agencies for the Blind (NCSAB) is seeking volunteer second and third year law students to assist with their efforts to index federal arbitration decisions under the Randolph-Sheppard program. Randolph-Sheppard, a program that affords businesses managed by blind entrepreneurs a priority in contracting with the federal government for food service, has a prescribed arbitration procedure. Many of the decisions yielded by this arbitration process have precedential value and could be of benefit to state agencies for the blind and blind entrepreneurs. Unfortunately, there is currently no organized collection of these decisions and no convenient way to search them. The vast bulk of the decisions are available in electronic format.
NCSAB is soliciting 2Ls and 3ls who would be willing to volunteer roughly four to six hours a week to assist with summarizing, tagging and indexing these decisions for the benefit of the Randolph-Sheppard community.
How do I sign up? Interested parties are asked to send a résumé and contact information to Sean Whalen at firstname.lastname@example.org.Please do not hesitate to contact Sean at 866 443-0998, or via email, with any questions or to find out more information.
