The Clinic Trains Students to:

  • Provide highly effective client representation.
  • Become creative, independent thinkers and outstanding attorneys.
  • Increase the effectiveness of the civil and criminal justice systems in the fight against domestic violence.
 

Students in the Domestic Violence Clinic represent victims of family abuse in D.C. Superior Court. The Clinic provides students with intense training and extensive hands-on experience in domestic violence litigation.

The Clinic's Mission:

  • To provide law students with an intensive, challenging education in the art of trial advocacy.
  • To provide high quality representation to indigent victims of domestic abuse.
