Closed - all classes and scheduled events are cancelled for THURSDAY, MARCH 5, 2015. Designated emergency personnel must report to work on time. Instructional Continuity is in place for the faculty members that wish to exercise it.
Continuing Legal Education Credit
Accreditation is requested for most of our programs from states with mandatory Continuing Legal Education requirements. Georgetown University Law Center is an accredited CLE provide in most MCLE states. Georgetown Law CLE is a State Bar of California-approved MCLE provider. Some states require nominal accreditation fees. You will be asked to submit payment at the program's conclusion.

How do I obtain CLE Credit for attending a program?
CLE forms are available throughout the program at a CLE Credit table conveniently located in the registration area. Please check with a member of the CLE team for the exact location or any specific questions you might have. You will only receive CLE credit for sessions attended. Will CLE Credit be available for my state?
Based on past attendance, we either apply to or have been automatically approved for credit in: Alaska, Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Georgetown Law CLE is an accredited provider in California, Delaware, Illinois, and Virginia. We follow the Approved Jurisdiction Policy in New York.
For states not included in the list above - Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, Washington, and Wyoming - attorneys should send in an application to their state CLE authority using form applications provided at the program. How do I receive credit in Pennsylvania?
Attorneys requesting CLE credits in Pennsylvania will complete a Pennsylvania CLE Credit form and return it to Georgetown Law CLE with the $1.50 per credit hour fee (rounded up to the nearest dollar). We will then report your credits online to Pennsylvania. The process takes 5-6 weeks to complete.
When will my credits be reported to the state bar?
We submit CLE reporting information to some of the states directly within 4 weeks after the program via US mail or online. These states include Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah.
How do I request CLE credit retroactively or replace a missing certificate?
