Lori Berman, PhD is an Adjunct Professor and Research Affiliate of the Center for the Study of the Legal Profession at Georgetown Law, and Director of Professional Development for Hogan Lovells US LLP. She has consulted and taught courses on leadership, team and client relationship skills for professionals for 15 years. Prior to working at Hogan, she worked both in-house and as a consultant. In these roles, she helped organizations and law firms with learning and professional development initiatives, leadership skills and coaching, succession planning, client relationship skills, women's initiatives, and using competencies for selection and performance management. Her work has won multiple awards, including the Chief Learning Officer Learning Team Award and the Association for Continuing Legal Education (ACLEA) Award for Professional Excellence in Technology.
