Jill C. Castleman
Jill Castleman is the Director of Academic Conferences and Continuing Legal Education. She is a graduate of Indiana University, with a degree in Public Affairs. She has worked at Georgetown Law since 1997 and has held several positions in the department. In her role as Director, Jill manages departmental operations and oversees the implementation of academic conferences.
Jill currently serves on the University's Staff/AAP Advisory Council and is a member of the Law Center's Professional Development Committee. She recently also completed the "Shaping and Advancing Georgetown Executives –Future Leaders Program."
Jill has served on the Executive Committee of the Association of Continuing Legal Education (ACLEA) and as chair of the Law School Special Interest Group of ACLEA. She has also served as the Chair of the Section of Continuing Legal Education for the Association of American Law Schools. She is active in the Association of Continuing Legal Education and the Society for Human Resource Management.
Previously, Jill worked as a Legislative Correspondent on the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry, then chaired by Senator Richard G. Lugar of Indiana. Before moving to Washington, DC, Jill worked for the Indiana Health Care Association.
