Attending a Program
Georgetown Law is located near Union Station on Capitol Hill, at 600 New Jersey Avenue, NW. Bernard McDonough Hall is considered the main Law Center building. For security reasons, visitors should enter through the New Jersey Avenue NW entrance of McDonough Hall. Disabled visitors and guests utilizing wheel chairs are encouraged to use the F Street entrance to McDonough. To the right of the entrance is a yellow emergency box. Push the red help button and let the Public Safety Office know that you are here for a CLE program. The Gewirz Student Center faces McDonough Hall and is located at 120 F Street, NW. The Edward Bennett Williams Law Library sits on the north side of McDonough Hall at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and New Jersey Avenue. The Eric E. Hotung International Law Building is located on the south side of McDonough Hall across the Tower Green at 550 First Street, NW.

Registration typically begins an hour before opening remarks and the first session. Program location does vary, so please check your confirmation letter for detailed information on check-in location. The majority of our programs are held at Georgetown University Law Center, McDonough Hall, 600 New Jersey Avenue, NW, in the Hart Auditorium on the first floor of the building. If you are unsure of where to go, please call us at (202)662-9890.
All visitors to McDonough Hall must enter through New Jersey Avenue NW entrance to the building.

Continental breakfast is served at most programs; please check the program brochure for specific times. Additionally, the Law Center has many on-campus dining options that attendees are welcome to enjoy.
Conference attendees, board members, and speakers may use the Georgetown Law Fitness Center at the $10 guest fee rate while on campus for the conference (including the day before and after). Please show your name badge or confirmation letter for entry. The Sport & Fitness Center is located across from McDonough Hall and in between the Hotung International Building and the Gewirz Student Center. Hours of Operation are as follows:
Monday-Thursday: 6:00 am - 10:30 pm
Friday: 6:00 am - 8:30 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Sunday: 9:00 am - 8:00 pm

Please show your name badge or confirmation letter for entry. The Georgetown Law E.B. Williams Library is located at 111 G Street NW, on the northernmost end of campus.
The Law Center is most easily accessible by Metro. Take the Red Line to Union Station and exit onto Massachusetts Avenue NW. Turn right on Massachusetts Avenue NW and walk two blocks to the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and New Jersey Avenue NW. Cross Massachusetts and turn left on New Jersey Avenue NW. Stay to the right to continue on First Street NW. McDonough Hall will be the second building on your right. Disabled visitors and guests utilizing wheel chairs are encouraged to use the F Street entrance to McDonough. To the right of the entrance is a yellow emergency box. Push the red help button and let the Public Safety Office know that you are here for a CLE program. To reach the Gewirz Student Center, continue past McDonough Hall to the Tower Green. The Gewirz Student Center is the tall building facing onto the Tower Green, on the corner of 2nd and F Streets NW.
You may also take the Metro to Judiciary Square and walk three blocks on E Street NW to First Street NW. After making a left on First Street NW, the Gewirz Student Center will be on your left facing on to the Tower Green at the corner of F and 2nd Streets NW. McDonough Hall and the Williams Library will be on your left-hand side after you pass Hotung International Law Building.

Two suburban rail lines arrive and depart from Union Station, which is two blocks from the Law Center. These can serve as an alternative to the Metro or driving. Yes, the registration fee for all programs includes course materials. All course materials will be provided to you electronically by email one week prior to the program. Benefits of downloadable course materials include:
