Income Tax Accounting II

    This course expands on selected subjects covered in Tax Accounting I, including income and expense recognition, capitalization of costs, and inventories, as well as appropriate new subjects, including the manufacturing deduction found in section 199. Students will be expected to explore the technical as well as the policy and administration aspects of the subjects covered. This course will also touch on the growing connectivity between tax reporting and financial statement preparation. Through a student's paper preparation, he/she will assist in classroom presentations and discussions.
