This course provides an introduction to the constitutional and administrative law of the European Union. We will discuss the history of the integration project, framework of the European Union and the European Communities, features of the Community pillar, domestic constitutional considerations, managing institutions, sources of law and legislative instruments, law-making processes, and judicial review proceedings. Case study will be combined with analysis of treaty provisions. Where necessary, reference will be made to the substantive and economic law.
