Antitrust in a Global Economy Seminar

    This seminar will address questions of antitrust law and enforcement policies in the United States and in other countries around the world. Emphasis will be on merger and cartel enforcement and enforcement against distribution practices in Europe, Asia (especially Japan and Korea), Canada, South Africa and Latin America. Some portions of American law that relate primarily to global competition will also be examined. Students will be expected to write a paper that meets the upperclass legal writing requirement.

Strongly Recommended: Prior or concurrent enrollment in Antitrust Law (or the equivalent Antitrust Economics and Law).

Mutually Excluded Courses:
