Professor
Craig Hoffman
LL.M Seminar 844
| 1 credit hours
Students will write a series of documents that are related to their representation of a corporate client on a matter of New York commercial law in the context of an appeal from a ruling by the Federal District Court for the Southern District of New York. Students will analyze the client’s legal position; perform individual legal research on the related law; and write a legal memorandum that will predict what the Second Circuit Court of Appeals is likely to rule on the appeal. Students will also give oral presentations of their research findings. Students will receive individual feedback on both written and oral work.
