Professor Carroll was a senior associate at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP in Sacramento, California. She was also a member of the firm’s professional responsibility committee. Her practice included representation of financial institutions, utilities, and public entities in all aspects of civil litigation, from pre-dispute counseling to enforcement of judgments. While practicing, Professor Carroll also taught as an adjunct in the Global Lawyering Skills program at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Prior to law school, Professor Carroll was a reporter at the Philadelphia Inquirer and other newspapers.
