Professor Clukey is a trial attorney in the Tax Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. He has litigated a broad array of tax issues in the federal courts, including serving as lead counsel in both jury and bench trials, and is a two-time recipient of the Tax Division's Outstanding Attorney Award. Prior to joining the Department of Justice, Professor Clukey was Counsel at the law firm of McKee Nelson (now Bingham McCutchen), where his practice concentrated on federal tax controversy and litigation matters. He is admitted to practice in Virginia and the District of Columbia.
