Professor Devereaux is a Senior Technical Reviewer for the Associate Chief Counsel (Int’l), Branch 3, of the Internal Revenue Service. In this position, she is responsible for reviewing docket attorneys’ work and issuing regulations and other published guidance in the foreign tax credit and sourcing areas. She also co-manages a branch consisting of up to ten attorneys, plus administrative staff and coordinates with counterparts and clients within Chief Counsel, the IRS Commissioner’s Office, the Treasury Department, and the private sector. Prior to that, she was Editor of Tax Notes International Tax Analysts and an Associate at Muldoon, Murphy & Faucette.
