While at the Treasury Department, he has had responsibility for a variety of matters relating to U.S. international taxation and tax treaties, focusing in particular on the taxation of financial institutions and products. Prior to this he was an associate at LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae, where he worked on tax issues facing foreign and domestic insurance companies, and at Winston & Strawn, where his practice focused primarily on matters concerning U.S. taxation of foreign financial institutions.
