Jeffrey A. Erickson

B.S., University of South Florida; J.D., Capital University. Professor Erickson works as a Partner/Principal, in the National Tax--Joint Ventures and Partnerships division of Ernst & Young. Prior to starting his own partnership tax practice as Principal at Grant Thornton, Professor Erickson was a Senior Manager in the National Tax Partnerships division of Ernst & Young. In this capacity, he advised clients on transactions regarding corporate joint ventures, partnership mergers and divisions, and international tax issues. Previously, Professor Erickson was a Manager at Arthur Andersen. His work there focused on national tax partnerships and special corporations. Professor Erickson has published numerous articles and columns concerning partnerships, tax management, and debt allocation. He also appears as an expert panelist, relating his expertise on Subchapter S, low-income housing, and other legal issues.
