The Law and Philosophy Workshop is a research forum in which outside speakers present works in progress in the areas of philosophy and legal theory. In the spring of 2011, the workshop will focus on promises, contracts and other relationship-based obligations, moral and legal. The spring workshop will also consider normative powers more generally, that is, agents' ability to choose what obligations they or others owe one another, or to effect other sorts of normative change when they so desire.
