Biography

B.A., LL.B., Harvard. Professor Rezneck is Senior Assistant Attorney General for the District of Columbia. He was General Counsel to the District of Columbia Financial Responsibility & Management Assistance Authority, known as the Financial Control Board. He was a partner at Arnold & Porter for 27 years, where his practice focused on general litigation. He has trial and appellate experience in all courts of the District of Columbia and in federal courts throughout the country. Professor Rezneck was an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia and clerked for Justice William J. Brennan, Jr., of the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and the American Bar Foundation, and served a term as president of the D.C. Bar. Professor Rezneck was a member of the D.C. Board on Professional Responsibility, which administers the disciplinary system for members of the D.C. Bar. He has taught at the Law Center since 1963 and was a visiting professor from practice at Harvard Law School in 1978. Professor Rezneck received the Law Center's Fahy Distinguished Adjunct Professor Award in 1994.
